These clients found a nice  plot with views, in Tindaya, but very exposed to the main winds which is natural ocurrence in Fuerteventura.
The purpose of this house was as a second residence and their space needs were just  a couple of bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, a large kitchen, a room for washing machine (with patio for hanging out clothes), a toilet, storage room, and large covered terrace to enjoy the open air and sea views.
The challenge was therefore to design the house so that all the rooms could access the landscape views, including the terrace under its pergola, but all protected from the prevailing winds.
From the first sketches, the result was a circular floor plans shaped like a half moon with 95 m2 of dwelling and 96 m2 of terrace almost all covered.
The architect, Imke Quast, achieved a magnificent project based on the concept that we proposed. He managed to locate a fireplace-barbecue on the covered terrace and separated the guest area from the rest of the house in a wise way.
